A Bushel and a Peck.

My dad passed away yesterday at 8am in his apartment...he was 78 years old. I found out today with a call from the coroner. Rest In Peace dad...I love you a bushel and a peck and a hug around the neck. -Teresa Marie (precious princess)

Ex-Philes...Update.

Nothing to report... I chickened out.-It's that simple... I couldn't do it. We had such a good night...I just didn't want to end it on a bad note. I am such a coward...I know. :o(

The Copycat strikes again!!!!

Sorry, PH...but this was such a cool thing I had to rip you off a little. And I believe the results completely size me up. Your Word is "Love" You see life as possibility to form deep connections with a few people. Relationships are the center of your world, and you always take time to bond with those you love. You are caring and giving. You enjoy helping those you love. And when it comes to romantic love, you feel passionately ... even in a very long term relationship. What's" Your Word? Have a great weekend everyone...(big exhale) Wish me luck! One love- Jaded

Blogger Bash...No Sir...Not Me.

If there is a blogger bash...sorry kids...not gonna do it this time, or the next most likely. Drama can kiss my arse, quite frankly. Although, I will miss seeing a few of you there...Flam, IDNKM, PH, Ramble, Jen, and EBB namely. I guess I am just not willing to be sitting with the shit stirrers, and the regular bloggers who CLAIM to be "nobody important" by posting anonymously and causing problems. I also have no interest in seeing someone there who I THOUGHT was a friend but really just turned out to be just another jerk who throws friends away. I will say no more on the topic. Just know that I will be thinking of my friends while you are there. Everyone keep it civil and have a great time. :o) Peace to ALL. -Jaded

The Ex-Philes Part 10 Excerpt 3...The Things Left Unsaid.

"I wanted a perfect ending. Now I've learned, the hard way, that some poems don't rhyme, and some stories don't have a clear beginning, middle, and end. Life is about not knowing, having to change, taking the moment and making the best of it, without knowing what's going to happen next. Delicious ambiguity". -Gilda Radner, 1946-1989 Today is the day... Apropos that is is Valentines Day, I suppose, to talk about love. This, my dear friends and readers is the last excerpt of Doug's story, and the Ex-Philes. Now that I have purged myself of my past demons, I suppose it is time to move on and let go of baggage. Easier said than done-yes...but hopefully my attempt at cleansing will not be futile this time. So...on we go. After the impending break-up with Jay, there we were...again-just Doug and I. And although we both knew that we were longing for one anothers company, there was still a strange gap there. Things left unsaid, if you will. Halloween came and went...

Books ROCK.

Taking a break from the seriousness for a spell, I have decided to post about books. Yes, I am a reader even though I fail to mention it here most of the time. Yes, I LOVE to read, and Yes I read almost every night. Even if I can't afford new books, I re-read old ones. So tonight I decided to post about a few of my favorites and a few random that I think other readers would be remiss in not checking out themselves. Granted, some of these book aren't considered "important works of literature by any means, but they are all good reads...even of they are fluff. So, without further ado...the books I like. 1.) Jemima J...By: Jane Green A great read about a "fuller figured" lady living in london and struggling with a social life. She eventually gets fed up and hits the gym, only to develop an eating disorder and a total lie of a relationship. A great twist at the end surprises anyone who reads. A great book. 2.) The Undomestic Goddess...By: Sophie Kinsella The author of...
